Feeling Dizzy And Tired After Hitting The Head. Feeling Pressure Behind The Eye. Taking Plavix And Blood Thinner. Pseudo Aneurysm In The Femoral Artery In Leg. Any Advice?
I slipped off my bed on Friday night and whacked the back of my head on our hardwood floors. I don t remember much but went to bed. I am dizzy at times , tired and I still feel pressure behind my right eye. I m taking plavix and a blood thinner for a cardiac issue and a pseudo aneurysm in the femoral artery in my leg from a recent cardiac catheterization that had a complication (torn entema during surgery). I can form sentences, focus on the news/tv, but my head hurts and there is a large bump on the back of my head that is really painful to the touch. Should I give it a few more days to see if I feel better?
Concussion , scalp injury , skull fracture , subdural hematoma can occur after head injury
as you are on blood thinners - brain hematoma risk is more
go for CT scan for assurance
