Feeling Dizzy, Heavy Head After Removing Wisdom Teeth. Taking Pain Medications. Any Ideas?
Three days ago I had 3 wisdom teeth removed at the same time because i already had 1 removed a long time ago. I have since then being feeling dizzy and like my head is heavy. I still have not obtained my antibiotics. I took pain medication yesterday morning but never again because i thought it was due to the pain medication but i am still feeling dizzy. Can you tell me what is going on and what i need to do? Thank you.
It is because of idiosyncratic reactions to medications.not all extracted wisdom tooth requires antibiotic coverage.visit your dentist and explain the symptoms ,he might change the medications and dose.
meanwhile follow the post extraction instructions that was recommended. maintain a good oral hygiene with adequate rest. hope this helps you, regards, Dr.naveen
As you underwent 3 wisdom teeth extraction at a time so you need proper rest..no need to be worried regarding heavy head and dizziness...it will go within 3-4 days...
Start your antibiotic and analgesic according to your prescription...take antibiotic with full glass of water....and don't take any antibiotic in empty stomach...
Do warm saline rinses 7-8 times/day..this will hasten the healing process...
If you have pain then take pain medication at least 8 hrs interval...
Don't do any stressfull work...
Take care....
Regads....
