General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic,

Shortness of breath can be related to conditions affecting the lungs, heart or may occur in other systemic illnesses such as anemia.
In the absence of any risk factors for heart disease such as high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, high cholesterol, previous history of heart disease or any other symptoms such as chest pain , palpitations then it is less likely to be relatedto the heart.

Since you are presently experiencing symptoms related to an upper respioratory tract infection then it may be related to that.

If it worsens or does not resolve, or other symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations develop then you need to seek medical attention.

I hope this helps
