Feeling Vibration In The Chest. Pain In The Chest While Exercising. Reason?
I am having a very feint vibration in the left side of my chest ..like a cell phone vibration but very feint. I am 59 years old male, and healthy. I fee no pain. Vibration comes and goes throughout the day. Currently I feel the vibration for a couple of sceonds and then it stops and then I will feel it again after anywhere from 10 to 60 seconds. I felt a pain in my chest a few days ago when I was doing pushups like I pulled a muscle...vibrations seemed to have started around the same time.
Thank you for your query.
A vibration may originate from your heart beating, or the flow of blood through the larger vessels. This does not need to be abnormal , sometimes it is related to your posture, when your heart presses forward against the chest wall, you may become aware of a vibration. At your age it is a good idea to have heart examination done on a regular basis, this will be a good time as it can also put your mind at ease. Please speak to your doctor regarding a check-up. I trust this information helps you.
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. I congractulate you for doing exercises at the age of 50+, any how the problem you have expressed appears to be the ronchi fromyour lungs due to some infection in the chest. After the exercise as the respiration rate is increased ronchi become appearent.
I advise you to consult a physician for lung infection, you may need to have an x ray for confermation of the disease. At the age of 50+ one will have muscle twitchings after exercise that might be reason for pain in the chest or infection it self also can cause pain.
It is quite advisible to have examination for maintenance of the present good health.
Dont worry you will be fine with the minimal treatment. i thank you very much for calling.
I feel what you are talking is palpitations. Get an ECG and ECHO done. Also get your thyroid checked. are you on any hormones, steroids or fat burners?
