hi i ve been having problems with my vagina area couple weeks ago i thought i had a heat rash on my leg close to the vagnia area it went way and then last night my vaginia area is red swollen and white discharge and i have a red rash on the lips and on ware my legs rub together im so confused but it s so swollen it hurt i put a & d on it helped so it didnt rub and hurt but please help

Hi,

It seems to have fungal infection, it might be common yeast that cause redness, swelling and rash in the neighboring areas. The white curdy like discharge from the yeast can be interfering. You can apply over the counter vaginal yeast suppositories. Along with it you can pick a pain killer for the pain and swelling.

The other reason for discharge is bacterial infection in such a case there is foul smelling.

The discharge can be tested in the lab for correct diagnosis.
