Fell Down In Pain Along With A Noise Heard In The Knee. Did MRI. Torn Meniscus Seen. Feeling Numb From Knee. ACL Torn?
I was walking down the steps and my left outer leg by my knee didnt feel right and all of a sudden I heard a lound snap kinda noise and I fell in pain, I called my orthopedic to see how my mri was that I did 2 days before this and he said I have a torn meniscus, now I wont see him till Tuesday but im in pain and worried I my have now torn my acl what do u think? btw my leg burns a bit too and this moring it was numb from the knee down to my toes sorry , im poor I didn't know I had to pay for this.

Hi,
You have to give your leg complete rest and have it examined. Until then Keep icing regularly at intervals of 2 hours to keep the swelling down. You will be given some anti-inflammatory medications to control the pain and swelling. Walk with your leg extended as much as you can and don't flex/bend your knee.
