Fell From The Stairs After Having Undergone Hystoscopy And Polypectomy And Have Started Vaginal Bleeding And Stomach Ache. Could It Be Related?
Hi I had a hystoscopy and polypectomy on 23rd October. I fell down the stairs yesterday landing on my buttocks and lower back and have started vaginal bleeding and severe stomach pain , could this be related. Usual paracetomol and ibruphen are not working
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The vaginal bleeding and the pain in lower abdomen are common after a minor procedure involving the dilatation of cervix. The bleeding usually stops in 2-3 days on its own. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
