Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

What you had is most probably a mild head injury known as concussion syndrome. This is seen in the slightest of brain injuries and may not be serious. This can take few days to weeks to disappear. Ultimately, the brain will recover at its own pace. While 80% to 90% of concussion patients will recover within 7 to 10 days, some patients will experience symptoms for weeks or months. The length of recovery is not necessarily related to the initial injury.

If you have vomiting, persistent severe headache, loss of balance, intermittent loss of consciousness, blurring of vision, you need to consult a neurosurgeon and get a CT scan brain done.

Hope this helps
