Flipped Ankle Sideways. History Of Broken Ankle And Bones On Foot, Ligaments Both Side Of Ankle. Painful To Walk. Suggest

what can be done when you have enthesopathic spurring of the calcaneus. I have broken my ankle and I flipped my ankle side ways a week ago. I broke my ankle in 1996 and broken all the bones across the top of my foot and tore all the ligaments on both side of my ankle. It is very painful to walk and the pain is in the top of my ankle.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I suggest to get an X-ray done now, if it is not done recently any time. The bones fractured long back might have fused not in a normal way and that also might cause you pain. Please consult an orthopedician, so that he can take a x ray and treat you accordingly.
A calcaneal spur can be removed and immediate pain relief is by icing the area. Taking care of Foot wear nd work outs to strengthen calf and foot muscles can relieve the pain.
Hope this might help!
