Frequent Urination. Blood Test Normal. Was Obese And Come Down On Weight. Gamma Not In Range. Problem?

My name is mark Nelson

About 1 year ago I weighed 310 pounds at a height of 5 foot 8
I started weight watchers and running now a little over a year later I have lost 125 pounds
Have co,mpleted one full marathon
My question is lately I have been urinating a lot more than normal
I just recieved all the blood tests back my doctor sent me for
Everything was in perfect range except my gamma gt which was at 131
Should I be worried
I don't drink,don't smoke,eat right,and exercise
Could this be an underlying condition from being obese for so long before losing the weight
Thanks

Hi

Gamma glutamyl transferase can be elevated in conditions of liver, biliary tract and pancreas. There are other tests available that can be used to rule out these conditions. I do not think that it may be responsible for obesity. High calorie diet, sedentary lifestyle and genes are mostly the main culprit.
