Hi, thank you for posting.
Well, your complication is related with lap band surgery, and it has developed
gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). This is caused by esophagus expand, because when the band is to tight and you eat to much it has the capability to expand.
Expand of the esophagus has caused
gastric reflux. The liquid that the stomach contain can be passed in your lungs and this causes pulmonitis. So we can say that
chest pain is caused by
esophagitis and pulmonitis.
You need: 1.
Blood test.
2. INR(International Normalized Ratio), to identify blood coagulation.
3. Pulmonar X-ray, to prove pulmonitis.
Until you get the results you should take anti acid, like Esomeprazole(Nexium) 40mg 2x1 a day, anti vomiting, like Metoclopramide(Primperan) 10 mg 3x1 a day.
If your situation will improve you will avoid a possible reoperation.
Take Care.
