hello doctor my mom (age-48)hb-8.6gm% she complains of generalised weakness many times she z using orofer tablets since 2-3wks she has underwent excisional biopsy for breast abscess 3 wks back nd nw also using medicines for asthma she z non diabetic&non hypertensive i wan to give her inj orofer-s since she z feelng sick &cannot get up from bed sometimes plz kindly give ur opinion

In view of severe anaemia, it`s advisable that you give her injectable iron(orofer) since iron absorption thru intestines is slow. She may also need vit b12 and folic acid in addition iron. Consult your physician and he can advise you regarding dosage.
