Genital Herpes Spread To Legs, Chest, Arms And Face After Shaving. Severe Itching, Burning Sensation And Swelling. Folliculitis?

i have genital herpes first outbreak was in november.2 weekas ago i started to get burning in my groin and it turned into herpes blisters..I shaved and it is all over my leg under my breast on my chest arms and now travelling to my face it itches and burns and terribly swollen because I shave could this have turn to folliculitis?

Folliculitis is the inflammation and resulting infection of a hair follicle in a region which has been shaved or due to unknowingly pulling the hair out (regions of friction, etc.) in a particular region. If you had shaved around your genitals, then the folliculitis should be present in that region. It cannot spread the way you described it to.

In my opinion, from the information provided, it sounds like your herpes has been aggravated. Probably due to the shaving, if you have used the same blade in other parts of your body.

I request you to visit a doctor at the earliest to help control your herpes, as it sounds like it is at its peak. You might also be highly contagious at present, so I request you to please be careful, to avoid transmission to another individual.
