Getting Late Afternoon Fever. Taok Advil, Tylenol. Stool Tests Were Normal. Prescribed With Flagyl

Hello: I'm getting late afternoon fever of 100.9 to 101.2. Take Advil or Tylenol it goes away and don't feel it again till next day same time. First I thought it was something bacterial and ask doctor to analyze my stool. She ran several tests and they all came back perfect.
Now she prescribed me with FLAGYL for 10 days.. Am I'm dying Dr.?

hi late afternoon fever indicates either it is tuberculosis or malaria or filaria.go for esr and mantoux test to rule out tuberculosis, malaria can be ruled out by smear for mp and then filaria should be eliminated.treat with same tylenol along with a broad spectrum antibiotic twice daily and if malaria is confirmed go for antimalarials, and also rule out infection at any other site
