Getting Pain In Ribs And Shoulder. Hurts While Breathing And Coughing. Any Relief?
I have a pain that on the right side of my rib that hurts when I breathe or cough and mostly if I sneeze or exert too much pressure in the breathing process. It feels kind of like a bubble sitting in there. It has also spread to my lower shoulder . The shoulder doesn t hurt when I breathe but just a constant pain (still feels like a bubble of some sort)

Hi,
This all be due to Lower Respiratory tract Infection that can cause Pleuritic chest pain that is Chest pain accompanied by Breathing and Coughing.
Have a chest Xray.
Yo u can have a complete treatment for that, That includes a combination of
1. An antibiotic that mostly respond to lower respiratory tract infection is Tab. Avelox 400 mg once daily for 05 days.
2. An oral decongestant that is Tab. Telfast D twice daily for 07 days.
3. Pain killer such as Tab. Ibuprofen 400 mg thrice daily for 05 days.
4. An antitissive for cough that includes Syrup. Acefyl cough 02 TSF thrice a day for 07 days.
Nothing to worry about you will be fine in a day or two with that treatment.

Having painful respirations (either breathing or coughing) is a sign of a condition called costochondritis. It is a treatable condition and is relieved by most over the counter pain killers. You may also experience relief by sleeping on the side that does not hurt. You will experience relief within 2-3 days, so please do not panic.
