Glands Were Swollen, Neck Sore. Bring Up Sticky Brown Phlegm. Feel Burning Chest. Developed A Cough. Treatment?

Hello
Approx a week ago my glands in my neck were swollen and my neck quite sore. My throat wasn't sore but felt that something wasn't right. I was starting to bring up very sticky brown phlegm. As the days went by I was feeling more unwell. On about the 3rd day my chest overnight felt like it was burning inside. The phlegm was getting worse with having to swollow all the time. I have developed a cough but only because of coughing up the phlegm .
I am still feeling unwell and have no energy. I am normally a very active person.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having upper respiratory tract infection, now spreading to lower respiratory tract giving you all these problem.
Consult your doctor and go for one course of higher antibiotic medicine.
Take some cough suppressant as well.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
