Got A Bug Bite. Vomits And Is Sick, Achy, Has Chills. On Tamiflu. Didn't Help. Suggestions?
yes, my daughter who works in child care in Claremont, CA where west nile has been found. She got what we thought was a bug bite, about 3 weeks ago. Now she has been sick for 7 days. She vomits maybe once aday maybe more. It very achy and has chills, then is hot. We called the Dr. he gave her pills to stop the vomiting, they are not working and another "Tamiflu". Nothing seems to be working. Bev S

if your sure that it was just a bug.you can think of hyper/allergic reaction post bite.
one try to put some local antibiotic over the skin/lesion.
Also try to give some cetrizine depending on the age and weight.hope it helps.
