Got Sweats And Chills After Heavy Drinking. Prolonged Hangover Or Something Else?

I drank a lot (25) beers between friday and saturday. I am a 25 yom 6'1 260. I am starting to feel better just now getting rid of the sweats and chills. Is this a prolonged hangover (40 hours) or something like alcohol withdrawal. I dont drink much during the weekday, but more on the weekend. I am holding down food and gatorade/water

Hello,
It is quite normal to have severe sweats and chills after heavy alcohol intake.
There is limit by which your liver can metabolise the alcohol.
This limit is generally one unit per hour it if you consume more alcohol then extra alcohol, which could not be metabolised by liver, accumulates leading to vasodilatation of vessels.
This vasodilation results in severe perspiration and chills.
Since it leads to dehydration, you are advised to hydrate yourself well.
Thanks
