Got Wisdom Teeth Pulled. Prescribed Clindamycin, Hydrocodon And Methylprednisolone. Can Oxycodone Be Taken Along?
i just got 4 wisdom teeth pulled and they prescribed me clindamycin HCL 150mg capsules (1per 6hrs), hydrocodon-acetaminophin 10-650 (1per 6hrs), methylprednisolone 4mg DOSEPK, andhydroxyzine PAM 50mg VIT (1per 6hrs). the hydrocodone is not working no more. would it be alright to take a oxycodone/ acetaminophen 5-325mg tab or would it counteract with the other meds?

Hi, it appears that the hydrocodone is not working for you. if the pain is still there means there must be some infection not controlled , and need the change of the antibiotic.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe ofloxacin, ornidazole, and some non steroidal anti inflamatories. Thank you.
