Gradual Sore Throat, Stuffy Nose, Pressure In Head, Face And Ears, Fluctuating Temperature, Light Yellow Mucus. History Of Same Symptoms In Family. Help

There has been a bug going around the the family and everyone seems to be passing it around. However I am now a little concerned if it could be turning into something more or it's something worse, I started off gradually getting a sore throat then I woke up with a very stuffy nose, bad pressure on my head and some minor pressure in my face. I cannot smell, I can hardly taste, and it is very hard to hear because of the pressure in my ears (or head) the day after I got sick I got a low grade fever low being 99.4 high being 101.5, it goes down to 98.7 with Tylenol. Also Mucas/boogers started off clear and are now light green/ yellow. My throat does not hurt as bad as it did on the first day but it's defiantly uncomfortable. Congestion and pressure is only getting worse.

Hi,
It seems that you are having severe viral infection giving rise to all these problems.
Take analgesic medicine asand when required.
Do salt water and antiseptic gargles.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Try to prevent infection spreading in your family.
keep handkerchief on mouth while coughing.
Spit in the commode and flush it out with water.
Ok and take care.
