Hello and welcome to HCM forum .
I have gone through your query and understand your concern .
Most functional ovarian cysts do not cause symptoms. The larger the cyst is, the more likely it is to cause symptoms. Symptoms can include:
Pain or aching in your lower abdomen, usually in the middle of your menstrual cycle.
A delay in the start of your menstrual period (Irregular menses ).
Vaginal bleeding when you are not having your period(
Intermenstrual bleeding )
Some functional ovarian cysts can twist or break open (rupture) and bleed. Symptoms include:
Sudden,
severe pain, often with nausea and
vomiting.
Pain during or after sex or any other strenuous physical activity .
Vaginal bleeding is expected and not a red line symptom( emergency care not needed ).
Tiredness back pain and cramping can be due to the blood loss and anemia .
In case you are feeling very weak and the pains are incapacitating then you should see your doctor or gynaecologist again who might either prescribe analgesics or
hormonal medicines to help with the symptoms.
The
CT scan may need be repeated to assess the amount of intrabdominal bleeding and then chart out a proper management plan .
Till then take rest ,avoid physical exertion ,you can take OTC pain killers .
Hope this helps , take care .
