Gram Stain Shows Occasional Gram Negative Bacilli. Effective Remedy?
Hello Dr. Stephen, 1) Automated Rapid Aerobic Culture ( blood , body fluids) blood left hand/ right hand. Organism - Enterobacter Cloacae . - Resistant to all antibiotics and sensitive to Colistin. 2) Aerobic Culture + Sensitivity. Specimen - Wound Swab. Gram Stain - shows few gram negative bacilli . organism isolated - Enterococcus faecalis . And Enterobacter Cloacae. 3) Aerobic Culture + Sensitivity Specimen - Swab from left hip. Gram Stain - Shows occassional gram negative bacilli. Organism - Enterobacter Cloacae. 4) Aerobic Culture + Sensitivity Specimen - fluid from left hip. Gram Stain - Shows occassional gram negative bacilli. Organism Isolated - Enterobacter Cloacae and Kocuria Kristinae.

You have mentioned the culture report of blood, body fluid, wound swab, swab from left hip and fluid from left hip.
The sensitivity for all these samples need to be done.
The antibiotic which is most sensitive for the organism has to be found out from this investigation.
In order to get rid of the infection, you will have to take this antibiotic, oral or injectable to get rid of the infection.
Get the sensitivity test done as soon as possible under the supervision of your doctor.
