Had A Case Of Urticaria, Swelling In Eyes, Lips, Hives. Steroids And Antihistamines. Is My Immune System Suffering?

i had a case of urticaria 2 wks ago. woke with swelling to my eyes, lips etc and covered in hives. got steroids and antihistamines. swelling went down quite quickly, hives disappeared after 4 days. am now worried something wrong with my immune system. can tests be done to check, could there be something wrong with my immune system?

Hi decrease in immunity is not the only one reason for acute urticaria.acute urticaria can be only caused by allergens like food allergens .dyes .insect stings.to know whether it is immunogenic or nonimmunogenic go for esr test.if it is high it is immunogenic.if it is so u can first try atarax 25 mg at night.alaspan in the morning if no response use steriods .if still no response go for autologous serum should be given
