Had A Fall. Pain On Lower Back. Was On Difene, Etoflam, Now On Paracetamol. Rash On Lower Back. Suggestions?
I had a fall about 6 weeks ago and the pain is in my lower back. I think it is the coxis s my doctor has said. I have taken difene which do not agree with me . I also was given a gel called etoflam which i applied for a couple of days. I hve not put cream on for a few days and am only taking paracetmol. I now hav a rash on lower back. Pain wears off when I mve around. Only there when i get up in the morning although have nagging pain in my side continuosly.
hello,I have got your question.I think this may be a pain of muscle spasm.may be a bone fracture/crack.so imaging will have a role to understand the problem .along with it physiotherapy and electrotherapy along with antispasmodic medication will be very helpful I think.the skin problem may be due to a local infection. So, at first go to your doctor and follow his/her advice. wish you a good health. thank you.

Had A Fall. Pain On Lower Back. Was On Difene, Etoflam, Now On Paracetamol. Rash On Lower Back. Suggestions?
Hello, Welcome at HCM. I have read complete details of your question. It looks that you had trauma & you are having pain at lower part of your back. If it is coccyx then it is coccydynia. It is pain at the lowest part where spine ends. Pain at this part is slow to go. You should do following to have relief in this- -Avoid sitting on hard surfaces. -Avoid straining at stool or defecation. -Take warm sitz bath or sit in tub of warm water in morning. -Take a good analgesic like advil or aleeve for relief from pain. Hope this all will help you. With best wishes.
