Had A Fall And Now Having Pain In The Left Side Of My Back. Having Bruise In The Elbow, Buttocks, And Out Of Breathe. Should I See A Doctor?

I fell down the stairs last night suddenly and flew in the air and came back down HARD, hitting my middle and left side of my back on the stairs. I also skinned both of my elbows and now whenever I breathe, I feel like I am out of breathe and my back still hurts ALOT. Also, the left side of my buttocks is very bruised and extremely tender. I don't know if I should see a doctor or just let it recover on its own.

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your history.

You shoukd consult orthopedic surgeon to rule out fracture.

You might have sprain of local muscles. You may get benefit by hot applications locally which may reduce edema if any.

Meanwhile you may take non steroidal anti inflammatory agents like ibuprofen . You may get prescription from your doctor.

Thanks.
