Had A Tonsillectomy, Prescribed Co-codamol, Nauseous All Week. Reason?
Hello. I had a tonsillectomy last Tuesday and have been prescribed 30/500 co-codamol (8 x a day) and co-amoxiclav (x3 a day) and have been feeling nauseous all week. The nausea has peaked in the past couple of days and I have been in bed most of the day. Please could you advise? I had previously thought this was due to the scabbing but I am no longer sure.
Hi Thanks for your query I can feel your concern you should be re evaluated by ENT doctor for chances of rebleed or super added infections . Do gargles and take green tea for this.I recommend to have a proper clinical examination Hope it helps Regards Dr imran
