Hello Doctor, I an 29 years old and am in my 35th week. My BP is 12/80. I had a Color doppler scan yesterday and the findings are as follows: 1. Presentation : Vertex 2. BPD: 85mm 3. HC: 309mm 4. FL: 65mm 5. Placenta localization: Posterior and Fundal 6. Placenta Previa: not seen 7. Placenta Maturity: Grade 3 8. Amniotic Fluid: Adequate 9. Foetal heart sound : Normal 10. Foetal Movements: Normal 11. Abdominal Circumference: 311mm 12. Est. Foetal weight: 2459gm I am worried about placenta maturity. I spoke to my gync and she told me nothing to worry about and did not suggest any further tests or regular scans. She asked me to visit her after 10 days. Can you please confirm whether there is nothing really to worry about? Regards,
Hi, welcome to HCM , I am Dr. Das.
From the above report it can be said that there is no abnormality . Not even in the parental maturity.
That is very normal for this gestation age.
Hi, Welcome to HCM, I am Dr.ganesh
First of all i will tell be ralax and take rest. Your USG scan report is obsolutely normal. Grade 3 maturity is completely normal and consistant with age of gestation.
I will also want to tell that even though mother and her physical condotion is somewhat on lower side, baby doesnot get affected, baby takes all nutrition form blood as needed.
Your baby has good weight.
So best luck for your delivery.
