Had Cutting Injury On Ulnar Side Of Right Hand. Pinky Finger Sweating. Nerve Damage?

Hello,
I have recently (a month ago) suffered a cutting injury to the ulnary side of my right hand.
The wounds have been treated and are healing well, however, I do suffer from tingling in the pinky of my right hand, and recently I have noticed that the finger is sweating. Can the sweating be a result of nerve damage?
Thank you ahead for your time.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

The tingling sensation and sweating on the hand after injury suggests an injury and faulty healing of the nerve injury.
The symptoms will take some time to resolve.
However, you can visit your orthopedician for a clinical examination and management of the faulty healing of the nerve injury.

Thanks and take care
Dr Shailja P Wahal
