Had Frozen Shoulder. Now Muscle Weakness On Hand. Should A Doctor Need To Be Consulted?

my 64 yr old husband slept on sofa last night and woke up this morning with muscle weakness on his left hand. He couldnt sleep hwell with uncomfortable feeling of soreness on his left shoulder. He's a left hander and played 9 hole golf only last evening. He had frozen shoulder before. He could lift his left hand only up to waist. No pain. Should he consult a doctor now.

Some pain anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen 400 mg thrice after meals. Hot packs. local anti-pain creams. Once acute pain is over physiotherapy of shoulder is a must to regain muscle tone, strength and movement otherwise joint gets wasted in long run
