Had Guided Epidural. Pain After Procedure. Done MRI

I had a guided epadural in october of 2011 something happened differently thatn the other 14 epidurals I had when I left there by the time I got home I was in tears and have not been able to do anything since I am in bed 14 to 20 hours I had an MRI done before the epadural and one done a month after the one after showed a hole now I have to have a bone graph done to fill the hole I am on 6 different meds and still in pain but without the meds I am in tears

Thanks for posting,

Well it shows that you had an iatrogenic injury (procedure induced) during your last epidural (most probably) and that it caused a bone perforation. Bone injuries are usually very painful and might require long term treatment even after doing a bone graft to actually control the pain. At times, the pain hardly even fades away completely. At one point, you might be required to accept and live with the pain with use of analgesic (taken for short durations to avoid dependency). You will have to allow yourself to through the procedure first and 6 pain drugs is not very advised.
