Had Hip Replacement Twice With Spinal Blocks. Having Stiffness In Legs. Which Specialist Do I See?

I have had 2 total hip replacements in the last 4 years. - both times with a spinal block. My legs are becoming increasingly stiff & painful both at night and during the day. Is it possible that the spinal blocks may have disturbed the nerves from the spine to the legs? Should I be referred to a specialist for this problem - if so, which type of specialist. The orthopaedic surgeon who did the replacements says he cannot help.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Well, my first question is are you doing your exercise properly and religiously? Regular exercise would not cause stiffness. Surgeon has done his part now its you. Catch hold of a therapist and plan a exercise program.
