Had Hives, Swelling In Tongue, Face, Chest Burning And Red. No Relief With Prednisone. Cause And Cure?

My sister has had hives before but yesterday her tongue swelled up and her face and chest started burning and really red. The hospital gave her prednisone and it seemed to make it worse. Today it swelled up more and she had to go back to the emergency and she used an epi pen on herself on the way. They just told her to double up on her Benedreal. What could be causing it and what should she do? She has also had horrible ear ringing and noises for over a year and cannot get rid of it and it is also worse.

Hi, it is all appears to be due to the allergy, due to some allergen, like food, cosmetics, etc. She must stop the recently used things, and add up one by one if it reappears you can find it and avoid for ever.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe dexamethasone, and chlor pheneramine maleate, injections. Thank you.
