Had Hurt Knee. Have Swelling And Pain. Is This A Sprain?

Hi. I hurt my knee last night playing netball. As I fell I heard a crack/ snap and was in severe pain. Swelling came on and the swelling has got worse over night. The pain is all round the knee especially the inner and back of the knee. It s sore to bend backwards and the leg actually looks a different colour to the other leg. Would this just be a sprain to the knee?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It seems that you got injury on knee joint might be having some injury to your cartilage and ligaments.
There might be having some hematoma giving rise to swelling and color change.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Give complete rest to the part.
Do ice pack application 3-4 times a day for 10 minutes each time.
Take anti-inflammatory medicines for pain and swelling.
Ok anfd bye.
