Had Surgical Abortion. Experiencing Burning Sensation, Fullness In Bladder, Swollen Abdomen. Normal Effect?
I just had a surgical abortion 3 days ago. I'm experiencing a burning sensation and a slightly painful feeling of constantly having to urinate when I actually don't need to . My abdomen is somewhat swollen and tender as well. Is this a normal effect from surgical abortion ?

Increased frequency is suggestive of urinary infection. Get your urine test done. Need to take antibiotic for infection depending on culture and sensitivity.
Take lot of fluids which helps to wash out bacteria in urinary tract.
Usually after surgical abortion, minimal cramping and bleeding will be there. Tenderness and bloating are unusual symptoms after abortion. Could be due to infection. Consult your doctor immediately for examination of discharge from vagina and further management.

As the result of the surgical abortion ,and you have 3 days days from the operation.These symptoms are normal.
The swollen abdomen may be from the gases and the weak motion of the intestine.
You should walk and eat foods that do not create gases.
