Had Unprotected Sex. Did That Lead To Red And Itchy Vagina? Am I Pregnant?

A little background, i was last on my period the 15th of august and should be starting mine soon! Im not on birth control so it isnt completely regular! Well i had unprotected sex four nights ago and yesterday i started noticing different things gone wrong! Right on the inside of my vagina is red and itchy (Not far in like right near the opening) i douched but just because i freaked out at first and it burned! I have discharge but not like thick, and odor but not to strong. It just itches. After douching i feel a lot better! Im just terrified i have and STI or pregnant. I really just want to wait it out and see if i start and the irritation goes away. But is this syptoms of anything?

Red and itchy vagina can occur after intercourse. Redness from abrasions(small cuts) which result from intercourse. Itchy vagina might be due to some genital infection which you had previously or acquired from your partner. You can apply a pad and check if there is any discharge. If you have greenish discharge with foul smell or thick white curd like dicharge with itching, it suggests infection and you should see a doctor.
Excessive Douching can cause irritation of mucosa which leads to redness and itching. Avoid use of soap.
Unprotected intercourse can result in pregnancy , be it whatever phase of the cycle and especially in a female wid irriegular cycles like you, one cant be sure.
So its better you take an emergency contraceptive pill like i-pill (levonorgestrel 1.5mg) single tablet though its most effective when taken within 3days of intercourse but can be taken upto 5days. After this protection is not guaranteed.
Before taking any medicine do take a urine test to rule out pregnancy if you dont menstruate.
