Has A Large Lump In The Center Of The Throat. Has A Turkey Neck That Hangs Down. Had A Sore Throat, Headaches. Treatment?

my husband has a large lump that just appeared over the last 2 days in the center of his throat by the adams apple. I don't know how to explain but he has a turkey neck that hangs down quite noticeably. He had a sore throat but just thought it was something going around at work at the time and he also has had frequent headaches

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

It could be enlarged lymph nodes due to throat infection or tonsilar enlargement.

Better to Consult your ENT specialist for examination and management as soon as possible.
If it enlarges further may cause difficulty in breathing.
He may need antibiotic treatment for infection.
