i am supposed to get my periods on 5th dec. i am trying to get pregnant, so doctor suggested me duphaston. she said me to use for 14days. i am using it twice a day. due to some curiosity i have done a pregnancy test at home n it was negative. on 10th dec, i saw some brown thing n thought i got my periods. i felt very disappointed. that brown thing is not like blood n it is a very little flow, hardly 10-20 drops. is that periods?

It is prescribed in luteal insufficiency to help in formation of secretory endometrium and in implantation of ovum.
Duphaston can be taken during pregnancy also, as it helps in maintenance of pregnancy.
Brown discharge of few drops could be due to implantation of fertilized ovum. urine pregnancy test kits sometimes may not detect pregnancy immediately after missed period. But blood test for pregnancy, which is more sensitive can detect. So you go for that after consulting your doctor. You need not disappoint for this, Confirm your pregnancy first.
