Have A Torn Lateral Meniscus, Swollen Tender Lump On Inner Thigh Down In Groin Area. Can It Be Related ?

I am a 47 yr old male with a torn lateral meniscus. I tore it back in august 2012. I have a swollen lump on my inner thigh next to groin area. It is causing slight swelling in upper thigh down to my foot. The leg sometimes is painful and the lump is tender to the touch. Also small bump behind knee. All this is in the leg with torn meniscus. Can it all be related?

hello l
iam dr N....
do you have any swelling, pain, tenderness, restriction of movement in the leg and knee,,if no,,,unlikely to be related
but better consult an orthopaedician regarding the doubt
swelling in the groin ,is it continuously there,is the size varying with posture, colour is it greenish..
it can be hernia or varicosity of veins
consult a surgeon ,get an venous doppler of leg done
bye take care
