Your mother is suffering from bone and soft tissue diseases more specifically osteoarthritis which could be infectious or autoimmune or gouty in origin. She will require to see a doctor who can examine her, run some few blood tests such as ASO, RF, CRP, ESR, blood sugar, uric acid, x-ray etc which are aimed both in determining the cause and also the severity of the condition she is having. If she is suffering from septic arthritis then she will require in addition to NSAIDs, antibiotics. Also more effective are steroidal antiinflammatory which might help her more. If she is having gouty arthritis then she might require specific treatments such as colchicine (pain killer) and allopurinol (anti-gout). If she is having rheumatoid arthritis then more extensive use of steroidal antiinflammatory will be indicated.
Hope this helps and wish you the best
