Have Arthritis, Menopause, Fibro. Relief With Oxycodone. Treatment?

How do I get my dr to take my case on its own merit? the push is to do away with opiates, I get why but not about me. I turned down pain meds over 30 years, have suffered since 16, know every mind trick, massage trick, hot/ cold trick you can think of to cope with and counter pain...it worked until about 5 years ago then arthritis joined menopause n top of my ever present fibro and I have tried every other medicine and only short acting oxycodone works to restore some of my life??? I get the worry but I truly have never taken that second pill

Hi, as you describe it appears to be increased after the menopause, it may be due to the menopausual symptoms due to the defeciency of the estrogen, it may be covered a lot by harmon replacement therapy.
So i advise you to consult an endocrinologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and one injection every week. Thank you.
