Have Atrial Septum Aneurysm And Mitral Valve Regurgitation. Taking Treatment For Tachycardia And PVC
I was just diagnosed with a intra atrial septum aneurysm with a pfo and mitral, pulmonary valve regurgitation is this something that I should be very alarmed with I also am currently being treated for tachycardia and PVC my doctor doesn't seem to be to alarmed but I had a echo done 6mnths ago and it was normal now this one I just had is showing do many problems even a dilated LA and other problems with the mitral valve now my blood pressure is 145/85 my hear rate is still above 140bpm the ablation I had done 2 months seemed to have not helped but made things worse should I be alarmed ?
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. As pulmonary, mitral ,aortic valves are involved. Tachycardia , regurgitation and atrial dilatation is a serious condition. Consult a Cardiologist and get his opinion. Color doppler with ECHO ( once again for the assessment of atrial dilatation) are very important. Good luck. Dr. HET
