Hello
Smegma is a collection of dead cells , oil and sebum on the skin, particularly in the crevices, near the
clitoris etc.
You have already been tested for infections, so I do not think you need to freak out about it.
Regarding the odour, it should not be too strong to bother you, if there is no infection.
Normal vaginal discharges also have a slightly fishy smell, so if the doctor has reassured you, do not excessively clean, douche or rub the private parts.
You would only wipe off normal " good " bacteria of the vagina, thereby leading to more infections.
Do not constantly keep washing the area.
Keep it clean and dry.
Avoid excessive moisture, do not use medicated / perfumed products locally.
Try and give yourself some breathing space.
take care.
