Have Bloated Stomach, Overweight, No Pain. What Should I Do?
I have a bloated stomach and have had for a few years. I am slightly overweight but my stomach is excessively large as I carry no weight on my arms or legs. Last year I suffered from pancreas problem caused by too much sugar, I have since cut sugar out of my diet. If I lose weight my stomach is still swollen. I am a 35 year old male. I did have IBS several years ago. I do not suffer any pain.
As you are young person, your symptoms are most likely caused by bad diet or chronic bacterial infection of intestines. Due to bacterial infection foods are not digested property, what results with increased gas production. Low fiber intake and lack of physical activity impedes proper bowels movements. This also can cause bloating and increased gas accumulation. I suggest you to have stool culture test and consider with your doctor Rifaximine treatment. You should also increase fiber rich products and mineral water intake. Add probiotic to your diet. If it wont help, you should visit gastroenterologist and have proper diagnostics.
Hope this will help. Regards.
