Have Bruise Like Blemish On Legs, Hard, Itchy, Blood Investigations Done, Told Will Go Away. Going Through Menopause
Hi, I'm a female about to turn 50 going thru menopause and about a year and half ago my first bruise like colored blemish appeared. Its about three inches oddly shaped and symptoms have been itchy but under the skin, they have felt feverish and also somewhat harder than the skin around it! And its below my knee on my left leg but smaller ones have appeared up to my thighs on both legs. I have had blood work done and nothing has come up negative and even went to dermatologist as was told that it should go away in a matter of weeks. Not what kind of specialist to see!
U need not to see any specialist.Might be u r suffering with senile purpura. Though these type of lesion seen after 65 yr of age but few patient develop it after menopause. AVOID TRAUMA ON ANY PART OF BODY.Just notice that ur daily routine activity or exercise etc affect it. Start vit C tablet daily for long time. Also, add estrogen rich diet in ur daily routine.Still u have doubt than consulit onco-haematologist for the same.
