Have Bruises On Forearm. No Idea How Did They Come? When Should I See A Doctor?

I have 2 bruises on my left forearm, one on the side and one more on the inner part. They are about 2 inches apart, one larger than the other, 1 1/2 inch in diameter and 1 inch, fairly circular. The larger one has a tiny knot in it. There has been no itching, no pain (unless pressed), and it does appear to be going away (had it about 1 week). I remember no injury, no bites, so where did these come from? No rings or concentric circles. At what point do I see a doc?

Hi,
You are having ecchymotic patches., a sign of purpuric dermatoses.
There are many causes of purpura.
If you are above 50, it may be senile purpura.
Blood tests should be done.. BT,CT,PT,Hb,TC,DC,ESR..ANA,RA factor..
And many other tests ...to rule out blood disorders, connective tissue diseases, anaemia,DM,..any other systemic diseases.
If no cause is found, it may be idiopathic.
You contact dermatologist for firm diagnisis and treament.
Apply thrombophob oint. patches.
Take vitamin C and vitamin K

I hope you might be satisfied with my answer.

Thanks.
