Have Congestion In The Ear With Ringing Sound. Took Flonase. What Could Be The Reason For This?

Hi I recently i went on a trip with some friends and I was at my friends cabin. I got in the ear with a water balloon, but the ringing sound eventually went away and I was fine. The day we came back I was really congested and that night my ears were ringing. My doctor said that it is just allergies and gave me Flonase. It has been a week and the intensity of the ringing has gone down but they are still ringing. What do you think I should do?

Ringing in the ear is called tinnitus, this is usually secondary to labrynthine disorders of the ear and may be episodic. The cause needs to be investigated and treated by a ENT specialist.Tinnitus is a difficult problem as it may persist despite therapy.
