Have Freckles On The Nose. Applying Melalite. Right Medication?
Dr. I have freckles on my left cheek near eyes and on left side of nose . I have them for past 8 years and I am 21 years old. I applied melalite xl first time yesterday night on my whole face and not the affected area. I have found a noticeable change in the colour of the freckles but i have developed a red spot on my right cheek. What should i do:- 1) Should I stop applying it or 2) Should I apply melalite only on affected area. thanks

On the basis of information provided it appears that you have started using melalite cream for freckles on nose.
I would advise you to first wash your face and then dry it with a towel. After that you should apply melalite cream on the affected area. The application of cream involves gentle circular motion of fingers such that the ointment is absorbed by the skin. It is advisable to apply this cream daily for 2 to 3 months at bed time to look for the visisble results.
If you notice any redness, itching after using it it is advisable to consult a doctor as some patients may have allergy to it
