Have Itching Between Fingers In Summer. Using Mupirocin Cream. No Change. Cure?
I am 63 years old. I am facing problem of Itching (khujali) between finger webs since start of summer. Last year also in summer this same problem occurs. In winter season there was no such problem. The itching problem increases some times in night also. some red patch since last ten days seen on left hand above palm. Since last 7 days using MUPIROCIN CREAM USP +T-bect cream, but seems no improvement where as in last summer it was effective. Suggest suitable medicine/treatment.
Hello, Thanks for the query. itching between fingers usually indicates scabies. However scabies has no relation with season.
Another possibility is solar prurigo, but this should manifest on all sun exposed area.
Take some antihistamine and apply a mild steroid cream. Let me know if you have any other doubt.

If the condition persists even after the use of cream, please meet a dermatologist. Thank you
