Have More Weight But Do Not Look Overweight. How To Lose Weight?

What does it mean when you weight more then what you look like?

I'm about to turn 14 in 2 weeks and I'm 5'3 . Problem is I weight WAY MORE than what I look like. I weight 171 lbs but all my family and friends think i weight about 125 lbs. Can someone please explain to me what it means? And if there are any possible ways to lose that weight and how?

Hope you are doing good. You are going to be 14 very young. You should not be concerned that much about your weight. any how the tips are If you burn 500 more calories than you eat every day for a week, you should lose about 1-2 pounds.

If you want to lose weight faster, you'll need to eat less and exercise more.

For instance, if you take in 1,050 to 1,200 calories a day, and exercise for one hour per day, you could lose 3-5 pounds in the first week, or more if you weigh more than 250 pounds.

Eat vegetables to help you feel full.
Drink plenty of water.
Get tempting foods out of your home.
Stay busy -- you don't want to eat just because you're bored.
Don't skip meals.
Don't use junk food.
