Have Pain In Calf Muscle. Not Overweight. DVT? Nerve Pain? Recommendations?
Am having pain in my left calf muscle which sometimes radiates to the front of my foot and also knee I am fit and not overweight and attend aerobic classes twice a week plus walking . I also know the dangers of DVT but think maybe it could be a nerve pain of some kind am able to continue with daily tasks with no prob the ache is irritating and is off and on worse at night when lying down any advice ?
Calf pain and radiation to the front of foot is a common presentation of nerve pain. If the pain is just an irritation you may choose not to do anything about it. If it gets worse or increases in frequency or limits your daily functions get an MRI of lumbar spine done. Also if you are diabetic keeping blood sugar under control is helpful.
Wish you the best.
